Textura® Corporation (NYSE: TXTR), the leading provider of construction collaboration solutions, was founded in 2004 by three PricewaterhouseCoopers Partners. At the time, the construction industry had yet to embrace the benefits that online technologies represented. Textura saw an opportunity to leverage such solutions to automate the construction industry’s manual, paper-laden processes and help firms operate more efficiently and effectively.

Minter Ellison (a top Asia Pacific law firm) and US-based Textura came together in 2012 to launch Textura Australasia Pty Limited. The joint venture brought the market-leading Textura®-Construction Payment Management (CPM™) solution to Australia and New Zealand.

Designed in collaboration with industry experts, CPM was launched commercially in 2004. CPM is an online invoicing and payment management solution that leverages electronic signatures, automated workflow and electronic payments to bring efficiencies to the construction invoicing and payment process. In just a few short years, CPM has become the industry standard in North America.

Minter Ellison’s expertise was critical to customising CPM for the Australian market. The firm brought the weight of its 30+ year track record as a key legal and commercial risk management adviser to the construction industry, as well as an understanding of the dynamics of the industry and the issues and challenges it faces. Textura and Minter Ellison also worked with local Head Contractors, Owners, and Government Agencies to gather requirements specific to the Australasia market.

With award-winning technology, world-class customer support and consistent growth, Textura continues to strengthen its position as the premier online collaboration platform for the construction industry.

In June 2014, Textura purchased Minter Ellison’s interest in the joint venture, resulting in Textura’s 100% ownership of Textura Australiasia Pty Limited.
